Freshwater springs
When someone says spring water you think of pump or other bottled water brands. Do you ever wonder where that comes from? Every day millions of liters come up from the earths vast aquifers (Explained at ...) and either flows down rivers into the sea or is used for water supply. What brings this water to the surface and what are the benefits of spring water?
Water has been around since the start of time, it cannot be created or destroy meaning the same water is used over and over again. Spring waters come from aquifers and the water gets into the aquifers through precipitation etc. Before water goes into the aquifers it is exposed to contaminants but as it passes through rock and soil all of the pollutants are filtered out. When the water is then removed from the earth by either overflow of the aquifers or seismic activity the water is yet again filtered. Once out of the spring the water continues into the rivers into the sea etc
Most people in the developed world have at one stage consumer bottled water from a spring or drunk straight from it. What does it taste like; purity, refreshing and generally tastes healthier. In fact it is healthier. Fluoridated water and town water always has something added to it for some reason, from possible health benefits to purifying contaminated water. But when water comes straight from a spring it has nothing added and carries essential minerals vital to human and animal life. To me and you water is water, but the purity and virginity of spring water cant be matched by what I call manufactured water i.e. town water.
