Precipitation

                 Precipitation

                                                 The creation of water drops
Up in the freezing atmosphere clouds are formed, and warm air rises  carrying water vapor formed from heat up into the atmosphere to cool down, and the vapor forms into tiny water droplets around dust. some vapor freezes and becomes small ice crystals which attract already cooled water drops the drops around the ice freezes and becomes larger ice crystals that we know as snowflakes. When snowflakes become heavy they fall. When snowflakes are falling they usually meet warmer air which melts them turning them into rain drops. This is all one of the many parts of what we call the water cycle.

When water drops or snow hits the ground it eventually evaporates and goes right back up into the atmosphere once again this goes on, and on continuously. Because rain is usually fresh water people rely on rain to drink to clean, or even for irrigation. But rain isn't always great for everything as the more we pollute our water the more the polluted water goes up into the atmosphere polluted in some really bad cases rain will become acid rain.

                                             Hailstones
Hail stones are formed in a very cold storm when small rain droplets freeze to such an extent that they become completely solid. As soon as the hail collects things like dust, and dirt the hailstones are blown to the upper part of the cloud more water droplets add to the hailstone before it becomes too heavy and falls with the other hailstones to earth.
